DD is playing both sides of the court very hard. He’s closed out some three balls while staying under control

Despite not shooting particularly well, Davenport has had one of his better games. Fighting for every rebound on both ends of the court, nice to see him really bringing the intensity.

Everyone is like how could we be favored? I'm like we have beaten them 9 straight times at home. They look at that stuff.

Great shot in the arm for our team.
MAW and DDJ both played to their full potential. |

MAW deserves a shout out. He has taken a lot on this board. What do you say?

We didn't force a lot of midrange attempts, but we did defend the rim extremely well, holding them to 40%. |

Our NET ranking rises to 58 from 75 after last night's win.
SMU (#74) becomes our first Q2 win of the season and only our third non-Q4 win along with Illinois (Q1) and Miami (Q3). |
