Bearcatboy has been banned for a week.
No one has any chances left when it comes to citing your sources. |

Guys, you have to cite your sources on info like this. It has caused nothing but problems in the past. Not to mention, fellow members shouldn't have to dig around on the internet to find out what you're talking about. If a player commits somewhere for example, and you can find it anywhere, that's one thing. But if you're pulling quotes and/or referencing articles, Tweets, other message boards, and things of the nature, we need to know where it is coming from. We've mentioned it enough, so it is going to be a zero tolerance thing. Thanks. Last edited by jacobkdoyle; 04-21-2015 at 02:22 PM. |

Just as a reminder...calling people out publicly will not solve anything. The mods will ONLY respond to Reported Posts. Use the "Mod" button to Report, and make a comment letting us know if you have any issues. It will copy the post in question and allow you to speak your piece. EVERY Reported Post will be discussed behind closed doors. We don't mind getting Reported Posts at all. And in fact, we prefer it over the public arguments that derail threads. Not calling anyone out here, just letting everyone know that we will only assume there is an issue when we receive a Report. Thanks! Go Cats!

Everyone might want to re-check the site rules as a refresher. We've had some issues lately. We aren't interested in playing the blame game...just a general comment. Please Report posts that are against the rules. Please use the Ignore Feature for posters you can't seem to get along with. And if their post pops up in a response from someone else, have enough self control to not read it, or at the very least not respond. Making digs at people you don't agree with in hopes to start an argument is Trolling. We dont need that either. We dont need public call outs, as they derail a thread just as much h as anything else. Also, please post in the proper thread. Overrunning every thread with a singular theme is not going to be tolerated. If you are going to respond in a civil way, but your response isn't on topic for that thread, please copy the post you are responding to and make your rebuttal in the appropriate place. I think everyone is tired of having to skim through zingers, call outs, and intentionally derailed threads to find any content worth reading on the site. Please keep it civil. If you know you can't, you need to ignore it, report it, or you're risking being removed from the conversation. We dont want to resort to banning people from talking about all of our favorite university and its sports teams, but lately we haven't been left with much of a choice. Disagreements and viewpoints of all kinds are great...just know where to leave it. And try to keep in mind what's best for everyone on the site. We're all fans. We shouldn't treat one another as enemies. Thanks and sorry for the rambling. Go Cats!
