Let's see if he can atone for his two runner-up finishes (McDonald's High School Slam and the NCAA College Slam) and finally complete the between-the-legs dunk from the foul line. |

i have been yearning (too strong i know) for a UC player with the style/mentality of James White...or a Levitt...the mentality of: you give me space out front, before you know it i am sitting on your shoulders after i have flushed a nasty dunk...i know that James White was highly touted out of high school and guys like him arent easily attainable through recruiting, but watching teams like Michigan, Indiana, Syracuse, or Louisville, it seems like they have a player or two with that mentality...the players on this team get ocassionally find they have a hole to the lane but when they get there, they cannot make a decision on what to do...Thomas has the skill set to drive/fly, but we have yet to see it with his limited minutes...i have never been able to dunk (slap the bottom of the boards with the best of 'em) so i am not sure if this is something that can be taught, but i really think this team could use somebody like that...it seems to me like this team tempers itself or regulates themselves from playing to their full athletic abilities...i love seeing that White has earned himself in the dunk contest and a career in the NBA...i am sure he will represent UC very well

This is awesome news!! I know he had the Mcdonalds AA dunk contest won but I believe he tried a crazy dunk when it wasn't necessary just for fun. It will be sweet to see Flight White in the air again. I am sure they will show some UC highlights of him before he performs.

my buddy at work didnt believe me when i said that White had dunked it between his legs from the free throw while overseas...so we spend some quality business hours being entertained by Flight White...this might be the first time i have watched the dunk contest in since V Carter was dominating the contest...these videos remind me of how awesome it was to be a student during those days... another video to help this friday pass smoothly... |
