This was according to my ticket guy in the UCats office. It's a shame that only 10,500 have sold, especially sice it's a Saturday game. If X fans want to boycott the game then great, we'll have the crowd advantage and it will entice us even less to return to playing on campus.
Well that explains why my tickets are on Eggzavier's side.....

Philmore and Stainbrook are very slow and unathletic. Rubles, Jackson, and Lawrence should be able to blow by them and get to hoop with ease. This is Jackson's last shootout, I expect him to be ready and fill out the stat sheet and go out on top. Same with SK in his 5th year here he is going to have a huge game, and prove again why he is easily the best player in the city. If we play ok offensively we should blow them out.
On another note Semaj in my opinion is soft, press him all game (he isnt well conditioned and may cramp....again) and in half-court make him shoot (he cant shoot)

Don't underestimate Samaj. The kid is a flat-out stud. However, I do agree with you that he gets frustrated early and 40 minutes of pressure coupled with his lesser teammates will get to him.

He is very, very good in transition. I know UC has some good athletes with speed, but being fast with the ball is a different animal.

My guess is UC will play off him in the half court and make him a jump shooter. Guyn, Johnson, and Kilpatrick all will spend time guarding him.

Bingo! You nailed it.

That is fantastic IMO. There should have been no way in hell we should have played one game for UC at home at Cintas and then went back to Xavier campus the next year. At the very least it should have been a 2 year home and away at Cintas with the option of re-assessing after that point.

Judging by a rumored boycot and the chants after the last Eggs game it is apparent not much has changed. If they think a two year home and away at Cintas is unfair...they are delusional.

I'd venture to guess your tix are on X's side because they sold less tickets, thus the "best available" were in their sections. Sucks for you, but good for the Beacats I suppose. You'll just have to do us proud and out cheer all the X fans around you.

By the way Mo was reporting about 6,000 seats available on his show tonight, which I believe puts the total around 12,000 sold.

I wonder if the rumored boycott has anything to do with their season thus far? Three losses with some close games to weak opponents? I would bet they wouldn't be boycotting if they were taking care of business and in the top 25. When your team sucks Eggs or Eggs sucks...it's time to Boycott so you don't get Eggs on your face. LOL! I love it.
