I'd take Papas for sure. The guy can shoot. He would have had the highest true shooting percentage on our team.

Plus he could immediately fill the swagger role that Mason left.

Looks like he's already on to his 3rd DI school, despite spendhing his first two years in JC.

This is a Moneyball situation. Take guys who are elite in some way. Don't get too caught up in intangibles for one year rentals.

No thanks on Steadman. Not great on offense, and only a 4.3 Oreb rate (worse than Davenport, nearing Rap territory) and a turnover and foul machine.

Sure our guys would have better shooting percentages too if they were just coming off of playing the likes of Marist, Niagra, Quinnipiac, Rider, St. Peters, Fairfield, Manhatten, etc.

So we should take guys who can't shoot against those teams? I'm not sure what your point is. This is a thread called "Potential Incoming Transfers".

We were his best offer out of HS, so he should have some familiarity with the program from before he joined USF.

He's from Youngstown/Pittsburgh so hopefully being within driving distance of home is also incentive to interest him.
