He also had this insane over half court shot where he jumped over a guy and double pumped it.

The list is a PDF so I couldn't post the link to it. Great to see he's at least nominated. The final 24 will be announced on the 24th. I know nothing about recruiting but it's interesting that two kids from Walnut Hills are on the list of the seven guys from Ohio. From the Xenia Athletics site: Xenia senior guard Samari Curtis is one of 7 Ohio boys basketball players nominated for the 2019 McDonalds All American game to be played March 27th at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.* The 24 players who will be choose to play will be revealed on January 24th.* Through 12 games this season Curtis is averaging 32.6ppg,* he has broken the Xenia Boys Scoring record of 1537 points* and is closing in on 2000 career points!* Samari has signed a national letter of intent to play at The University of Cincinnati! I'm not 100% sure but I believe anybody can be nominated to be a McDonalds All American. When I played in high school our coaches son was nominated and it actually had him listed on the website. He received no scholarship offers to play basketball. |

As soon as it is known that Samari is committed to UC and not Xavier, his nomination will be withdrawn.
