I agree 100% with that, I am happy for him and hope he has a great 2 years at GSU. I just think at times he was over matched against other teams in the American. But against lower competition I think he could be a useful starter.

Happy to see Lojo land at St. Marys. Aside from Gonzaga, St Marys is the best team in that conference, he will have to sit out this upcoming year most likely (unless granted waiver) but I would love to see Lojo in the tourney for his final two years there.

Yep, the problem with the American is the lower tier teams are not competitive. It really drags down the conference. I think S. Florida is improving, but still not a team the conference can be proud of. I have hopes for Tulane now that Hunter is their coach, but it might take a while.
I''m happy for Lojo. He should be a good fit at St. Mary's and he is back home on the west coast where he was looking to be. |

From a few days ago...
Former Cincinnati Bearcats standout Sean Kilpatrick is celebrating Panathinaikos' Greek League championship. Kilpatrick's squad, coached by Rick Pitino, swept Promitheas Patras - featuring Kilpatrick's former UC teammate, Octavius Ellis - in the best-of-five Greek League Finals. It's the third consecutive Greek League title for Panathinaikos. https://www.cincinnati.com/story/spo...le/1465583001/ |

Jacob Evans continues his strong summer league form with a 24 point, 8 rebound, 4 assist outing on Sunday in a 80-71 win over the Raptors. He has scored in double figures in 4 of 5 summer league games so far.
Gary Clark has started in both of the Rockets summer league games so far and has played big minutes (28.5 mpg) but has struggled to find his shot, shooting 6-20 from the field (30%) over the 2-game span. Troy Caupain came off the bench in his summer league debut for the Wizards and scored 11 points along with 3 rebounds and 4 assists in 21 minutes during a 84-79 win over the Pelicans. |
