Boys basketball: Havelock's Kyran Bowman says he will take official college visits to Boston College, Cal., Cincinnati, Memphis, Missouri

Would be shocked if Memphis could land him. Pastner would already be gone if not for that ridiculous buyout. Cal just lost a 4 star recruit because an assistant was charged with sexual harassment. Boston College well.... is Boston College. This is a recruiting battle we should win.

He could play major minutes right away for BC. He's from Carolina so maybe he'd want to stay in the ACC. After all of Mick's recruiting misses, I'm not taking anything for granted.

Yes he could. However they just went through a season where they did not win a single conference game. No tournament for them any time soon in that league. If we really want him and get beat out by BC then I quit.

There are so many things that happen in recruiting, most of which never get publicized, that it is hard to tell what a 17 or 18 year old kid will do. I wouldn't bet on anything when it comes to recruiting. You just never know.

Would love to see this kid in a UC uniform. Can come in right away and play because of his athleticism, ability to create and his defensive ability. His jumper looks smooth not sure why he doesn't take more of them. Guessing because he's so athletic and such a good finisher he doesn't have to
