Elijah Macon, PF, All-Ohio Red – There’s a lot to like about this 6-foot-8 bouncy power forward. In run and jump situations, Macon looks exceptional, as he’s a terrific leaper and moves fluidly. Now he won’t wow you with back to the basket moves, but Macon will impress.

All this talk about Macon being a strong WVU lean- after having already committed to the Mountaineers a year ago then decommitting. Either somebodies got the wrong information or he really enjoys the recruiting process...

Stated last week that I believe he enjoys the attention. He decommitted from WVU and said he'd announce after his season ended. He's been all over the place. Like him but he seriously is no threat posting against guys with good size.

He has grade issues so I doubt schools will take him at this point in time.

Elijah Macon (Columbus, Ohio/Marion-Franklin)
2012, PF, 6-9, 220 pounds | Team: All Ohio Red
College: Undecided
When fully engaged, he is a bundle of active energy in the paint. Very athletic, he possesses a second leap in the paint that is just as high and powerful as his first. He has average hands but his activity allows him to secure rebounds and passes in the paint. Macon has a solid face-up game that includes a 17-foot jumper and slashes to the basket. Macon has developed into a Top 50 player with the upside for even more improvement.

Seems like we have really backed off this guy, with Scott in the mix do we still go after that big guy who can score or do we go after a point such as Terry Rozier for that last scholarship??

I heard rumors about his ability to qualify. Not sure if that is accurate or not but it might explain the backing off. As for Scott, I am not sure his commitment has been accepted. We'll have to see as time goes by. As of right now, I am assuming there are still 2 scholarships available.
