He wasn’t open cause we collapsed. That was a set play and they screened Maw to get that guy open. Like you only see what you want.

Pretty sure it was hammer action. Almost everybody runs it, including us. Whether it's a set or a concept is debatable. Lot of teams teach once someone drives below wing extended to baseline to have the big opposite set the hammer screen as a safety valve because it's an easy pass for the driving player to make, and it's an easy way to get the corner 3. Its even more prevalent as more and more teams are daring teams to go baseline, and always take away the middle.

Either way, maw should've been aware enough to know that screen was coming

You still have to expect that. The overall point is the dude was open for a three. Either switch or do whatever you have to, to guard the guy.

I had a side view obstructed by the rim. Just saw a mad scramble in the paint and a wide open elite shooter in the corner catching and shooting a corner threes

Definitely still shoulda seen it coming but his defender just didn’t leave him. Sounded like a great crowd today again. Great win

Couple observations-

Would love to see more Harvey, the guy has been coming into his own. He's shot looks good. Always solid defender since he quit fouling. He also had 8 points today. Would love him to get 20 + minutes. I'm also not sure how many he played.

Jarron was good, still settling for too many jumpers. 3-11 fg today. If he's hurt, cant complain, if he isn't, would like to see better passes and less jumpers.

Vogt and Keith were terrible. Vogt has been terrible for a month. Now he is missing layups, something he can't do. Keith has these games sometimes.

Diarra with a big 3. I like his energy, and hopefully be next year he can cut out most of the dumb plays and be a real player. His energy is great for the team

Brannen has now swept Marshall and a chance to sweep Sampson Saturday. Weird because he has lost some ones we shouldn't have.

Right, it’s almost as if he’s played 220 minutes the last two week
