If the kid can shoot, he will get PT. I actually think he would play a decent amount but I just want to temper expectations because we all tend to get a little too excited about things like this, if it even happens.

Kid is a true 3, UC doesn't have a true three. Its a match made in heaven.

Bishop is a true 3 but I get your point. UC could use another Wing player.

I think "if" Bishop works his way back onto the team that he'll have a good season. There are some hurdles that require some very hard work on his part and it will benefit him and the team.
Greer would give the team a solid back up and I'd expect 15 solid minutes a game from him. Is he a difference maker? In the sense that he will come in ready to play he is. He is also a solid defender and rebounder from the 3. One year on his scholly and ready to play. It's a win/win for Mick Cronin and the basketball team. Now if the NCAA will clear the way it'll all be good. |

Based on what I'd read and heard, If he is granted immediate eligibility, he will be a Bearcat. Always hesitant to pull that trigger but feel pretty good saying that.

Sounds good to me. I say MC has nothing to lose by taking him.

Any idea on how long a decision will take on this? I know waiting on the NCAA can be a hassle. I got to think if it's an issue of where a player is going to school next year it would be a top priority so a player can make plans and get on campus.

Greer Wright will play and contribute. Probably will see 10-15 minutes a game and will give us somebody that can score off the bench. Average from 3 but good skills and will rebound.
