i dont think thats what anybody is trying to say. people are saying you just can't sign some top 100 guys and throw them together and expect it to work. you still have to build a team with a purpose. memphis used to get loads of guys under pastner, xavier has a bunch of guys right now, ucla has a bunch of guys right now. none of those teams played well as a team. you need to recuit guys based on what you think they can do in college, not where they are ranked on the top 100. you can find plenty of nice 4 year players that are low end 4's and 3's. |
