Munchie and Shaq Washington get an extra year

Looks like UC just announced that Munchie got his extra year. No surprise, really. Seemed a pretty straight forward case. I was unaware that they were trying to get an extra year for Shaq. I guess his freshman year he only played four games and was cleared for an extra year. This is big news in my opinion as he will be a junior next year instead of a senior.

If our season next year depends on Munchie we're in trouble.

I wonder if there is any chance Munchie could play WR. That could help the team tremendously, Esp if you wanted to include some trick play's.

Not too excited about Munchie coming back. Because you know that means he will be getting a chance to compete for the starting job. Yikes!

Agreed, if no one else can beat out Munchie for the starting job, it will be a long season. Between Munchie, Kiel, Bennie, and the JuCo transfer, there are legitimately four quarterbacks competing for the job. I am really glad to hear Shaq has two more years though.

I hope so; with that receiving corps and a solid line, the offensive could be explosive if he lives up to the hype.

I'm much more concerned about our defense. Realy need to find some interior linemen and DB's. Kiel will be fine. Lots of talented wideouts and a good line.

Agreed, I'm happy for him though. He is a Bearcat and I like him as a person. I think his only use will be as a wildcat QB or a possible switch to TE/WR. I say TE because he has some size to him, not sure how well he would block or how good his "hands" are. I like that Shaq will have two more years though. I can't believe he had 78 receptions last year and only one TD.
