They are better than us. We need more pieces. That’s pretty clear. We need guys to stay and improve. We just aren’t able to compete with Houston at the moment. They are a veteran team, that’s good. The last two days were fun

No reason to whine that the sky is falling. We compete and can beat every team in the league except Houston. This year did nothing other than show that Keith Williams is no Jarron Cumberland. I like Keith a lot. He is super talented but just a role player who can not take over like JC. The only thing I fault Brannen for is being so wed to Chris Vogt as a starter all year. We have a good crop of freshman. I look forward to next year coming off a national championship in football. I will be rooting for Houston in the tournament for the sake of the American. We will see how good they are.

I wouldn’t mind playing in a nit or cbi. I know people think we are above that but didn’t West Virginia play in the cbi the year before last. You do what’s best for your program. Get the guys some confidence back. If they are wore out, and need a break, I get that too
