Elite 8 helped Xavier Zero (VERY GENEROUS #51 ranked class)

Gonzaga final four run didn't help either (#55)

A deep run does very little for recruiting. A kid doesn't all the sudden love the AAC after an elite 8 run

By my 5 minutes of research; the most important factor in recruiting is...... a Power 6 league. Being as ZERO players from the top 60 committed to a non power league.

5 players in the entire top 100 committed to non power leagues.

Thats tough.

unfortunately this is reality. Got to get out of this conference. We spent millions of dollars trying to get ourselves in a position to get in a P-5 conference. That to me speaks volumes.

I guess if you want "big gets" then P-6 might help. Still doesn't hinder Gonzaga though.

In all serious Jake I won't be happy until we are seated at the big table with Louisville, Pittsburgh and others who have left us behind. Pisses the **** out of me.

Nothing more pointless than continuing to beat that drum. We all know.

Your right!! As I said it drives me crazy that Mick gets all the blame and the people behind the scenes get to walk through the rain drops.
Coach has done the majority of the fund raising for the renovations. Guy has worked his ass off and gets most of the blame and still performs with one hand behind his back. Last I'll mention it.

It just bugs me that the excuses are so pre-programmed. I'm talking about our chances of getting a juco guy improving if we could beat SunBelt, Mountain West, and MVC teams. And the automated responses I get have to do with P5 and Top 100 players. It's insane. Cronin could've loosened the knot tying his hand behind his back if we could've beat way worse non-P5 teams. But of course we had to literally do every single possible thing we had to do to lose instead. And for that, Coach has no one to blame but himself.
