Think about it, if Mick was coaching this team where would Vogt be?

I'd say riding the pine.
Vogt would be at nku. Cronin would never roster him

Lol.

LOL If Vogt lives in the gym, weight room, and runs daily until the new season, he could be special.

My issue with the whole grad transfer thing is we are basically getting another mid major talent. We wont attract a high lever grad transfer like a Seth Towns or anyone like that and that's okay but my biggest concern is we end up with another Sorolla or McNeal, 2 guys who are lower level talent and expecting them to all of a sudden play at a higher level in there 5th year at UC. I get we need a big body and its just a crap shoot with what you can get because most 5th year guys are transferring and are expecting to play big minutes.

I still say Vogt was harmed the most by Sorolla leaving the team. He gave Vogt a body to bang against in practice that he no longer had after Sorolla left. He had to play more minutes after Sorolla left. He had to be careful not to foul after Sorolla left. All of these were factors in his diminished effectiveness and soft play recently. Not the sole factors, but enough to adversely impact his play. The timing of his downward play coincides with Sorolla leaving the team.

Like Justin states, Vogt can improve some of theses things. And one thing about this staff is it can develop big men better than Cronin’s staff, which I always thought was an area that could be improved.

You're Right, the Big East is not transferring down a level. The American is better

I’m not crazy about grad transfers ether but relying on freshman to play pf and center in major college b-ball games is tough, it takes time to adjust to the physical part of the game for sure.

This has to be the worse year for the American Conference, I don’t remember it being this bad.

I think we all know who Vogt is or what we think he is at this point. I think we are good on Vogt talk, and mick vs brannen talk. Think everyones point has been established on both topics.
