Have to think if we can get this kid, Mick has a very good big man lined up that he's confident will be a Bearcat.

Was thinking the same thing. We have wings but I guess you never turn down talent. I do think we will get 1 or 2 of these guys in the next couple years if teams start getting sanctions and we can stack some nice seasons.

This would be a huge pickup! If we can somehow add a quality scoring big later on it would be a home run. A grad transfer who can score in the paint would work perfect if we can't land a quality HS guy.

Either that or he feels Brooks, Scott, Diarra, and Noseme are going to be ready to go offensively sooner rather than later.

But I also think he doesn't want to waste a scholarship on a "project". IMO, there is no reason to offer a big man who may or may not be ready to play when we have a lot of young depth in our front court already.

We have 4 athletic bigs after this year who can all run, jump, defend, rebound, block, etc. We certainly don't need another one in this mold. I think we will need scoring in the paint. I think Brooks will probably be decent by that time but we could use another option down there. No projects...I would rather hold 1 over.
