Does UC have a special site to get away game tickets?
I figured I would stay away from 3rd party like stub hub bc since it would be a popular game I assume pricing would be high.
SeatGeek is like Kayak for tickets. If you end up having to go 3rd party, I'd do that.

Also I remember Stub Hub used to be a what you see is what you pay kind of site, but in the last year I've noticed they tack on additional fees as well

The UC Ticket Office will have all away game tickets for sale on 10/31 through the ticket office or online. We allocate all away game tickets based on UCATS donor priority and mail/will call them. Popular games like Butler will be hard to get, since we only get about 200 or so tickets. Other games(Temple/USF/SMU) are easier to come by!

If you must know, I didn't, I have a plot on the grid so was passing through to get there. For the highest ranked opponent @ Nippert in the history of UC football it was lame and lets say the crowd was not on the young side.

Do you know what sections will be designated for UC at Hinkle in case I have to get tickets through another outlet?

Yeah, tailgaters are mostly people with money, so we tend not to be on the young side. Sorry you thought it was lame. Us old folks like to share food, have some drinks and talk to each other.

You were probably made uncomfortable by your surroundings because everyone wasn't staring at their phone, playing Pokemon Go or playing with a bunch of people we'll never meet in some online XBox game.

Feel free to avoid the area in the future to avoid all the lameness. You may now return to your cool, unlit room and your video games.

I enjoyed the band Naked karate girls. One of my favorite local groups. But as a older person now, I did find it really nice but in my younger days I would have considered it a bit dull.
