Shame about his toe. This Manhattan game is very good regardless though. They sent it into overtime on an out-of-bounds play with 0.8 seconds left that resulted in a lob dunk.

I just saw that on my lunch break - what a play (and poor defense that allowed it to happen).

Definitely! Even if Lawrence was healthy this year, no way he would have been an anchor for us like Ellis has been so far

Was telling my dad the same thing yesterday. At the time, even with Lawrence's injuries and struggles, I thought to myself "What a downgrade. Went from a 5-star recruit to a juco that was already here and showed very little." Boy doesn't that statement sound silly now. So glad we have Ellis over "Maine Story."
