Peter Gammons leaving espn

He's signed up to do some work for MLB network and also for the Red Sox.

I understand that he knows his stuff, but I just can't stand the guy. In fact, it's become painful to watch him. So I'm in complete favor w/ his departure.

Wow, never thought I'd see that happen. He's been a long time fixture there and ESPN really doesn't have many other top flight baseball guys like him, even with his Sox bias.

He's their main go to guy. They are gonna have to whip up someone...like Pete Rose! LOL
