Its system their coached to play in. Outside of this year Mick has always had his favorites everybody stood around watching. Caupain, guyn, and Sanders were supposed be the crew this year.

Preach. To win big you need entire team of Yancys and Cash. We don't have not one on this team. It's going to be rough finding a diamond out of this squad.

Took Justin and sk 3yrs to be good. Rubles was overrated. It always seem we have a player develop too late with Mick.

Sanders, JDIII, and Guyn aren't long athletes with potential. Sanders was supposed to be a lethal scorer. JDIII was not very athletic and was known more for his offensive skills.

Tre Scott on the otherhand looks like a long athlete.

These names that get thrown out as "diamonds in the rough" would only be considered diamonds at present day Cincinnati. Nobody else in college basketball would consider most of them as diamonds, but when you compare them to the rest of the recuits that Mick has brought in here, they stand out. The recruit bar has so seriously been lowered during Mick's tenure, that we're now giving "diamond in the rough" stature to guys who who would have had trouble getting off the bench on some of our past teams. Because the competition for playing time has been so weak, they can come here and play for four years, shoot a horrible percentage, but continue to play, because really....who else are we going to throw out there....and because of the sheer volume of shots over time, are able to become some of our all-time leading scorers. There's an eye test factor that disqualifies most of these players as true diamonds, but they did ascend the points scored ladder and as time passes by, their place on the scoring list will be all that matters and how they fared in the "eye test" will be forgotten. They were good student athletes who represented the university well.

SK was one of our all-time greats for more reasons than just his results on the basketball floor. He had one amazing basketball season, but had 4 amazing years of exibiting class, sportsmanship, and hard work...and therefore is a true diamond overall.

ALL TRUE. IM SORRY BUT RUBLES, PARKER, AND EVEN KILLA WERE NOT THAT GREAT. Killa worked hard IM not bashing him. He can definitely get his points, but his athleticism and jacking it up 20 times a game and only hitting 5 with some Freethrows and theres your 18. Thats not great to me. These big men that we've had since Mick has been here are some of the worst in all of D1. Dont get me started on them.

Cash Lance SK JJ Yancy is only 5 that would start on most teams in. If your counting jucos/transfers I'll give you Williams and Thomas.Seven players in 9yrs is horrible.
