I've heard he's getting down to the wire as well. Hopefully the coaches know what they're doing on this. His only other offers are Ball State, Central Michigan, and Toledo. I would assume we're done at OL if he commits also?

Yup. Confirmed.

He is one tall Bearcat. I imagine that he could be great if the weight room works out.

6'8, 268 pounds
3 star per Scout
NR by Rivals

Should fill out quite nicely. I can see him easily being over 300 pounds within a year into the program.

He could be an absolute monster on the offensive line. Love it!

I agree. This is a guy who could could show us how good Lawson is in a few years. I hated losing Longo, but if Lawson is as good as Longo then this kid could be a monster.

Listed as the 17th best prospect in the state of Michigan. This is a pretty solid year for Michigan HS football recruiting. There are a lot of good players on this list.

It is somewhat concerning that the kid only had offers from MAC programs and us. Scout does seem to think pretty highly of him as you say and they rank him as their #56 overall OT which is 17 spots ahead of Justin Murray. It's funny because we'd be doing cartwheels over a prospect like this just a couple years ago. Hopefully the staff knows what they're doing on this one.
