UC vs. Pitt: Pregame Thoughts & Predictions

Pitt coming off a loss to Youngstown St. and had trouble defending the spread. I predict that the Cats start a little sloppy, Pitt comes out fired up, and the game is close at the half. The Cats pull away in the second half for a 34-17 win.

Bearcat_NTS will become famous soon enough
Cincinnati wins 27-20, in a game that isn't as close as the score indicates.

Pittsburgh had 6 players suspended for the YSU game.
With that being said, they're still horrible. We need to seal club this team.
Not a game we can afford to lose. Last thing I want, is to spend the season hearing how we're worse than an FCS team.

I have no idea how Pitt's loss will affect them for Thursday. That is an interesting wild card that could help or hurt us.

I don't love the matchup of trying to break in new DT's and a new MLB against a power running team, but they're going to be tested against VTech anyway so let's see what they've got. I think Munchie can go big against these guys through the air. The Pitt secondary doesn't impress me and I think the Bearcats will have a good game plan to have a killer passing attack on Thursday.

Ultimately, I think it's a fairly high-scoring game that will make us sweat. It's a thursday night game at Nippert though. I think we pull it out.

I will say 38-24 on a late TD to seal it.
