Im fine with either as long as its not EM.


Concern with Pedon is he's not a head coach but he has Ohio ties and could help us land top Ohio talent

Concern with Miller is he has only ever coached in NC and has no Ohio ties.





Miller's teams have been the Kenpom top 100 for 3 out of the last 4 years. Prior to that they had 1 top 100 team in the Kenpom era.

Top 100 in offensive possession length
Top 20 in Turnover rate
Top 60 in Offensive Rebounding rate
Top 65 in Defensive Efficiency


He's built his teams success on the defensive end

I am also fine with Wes Miller, I do wonder why Scott Nagy wasn't interviewed if we are going the veteran coach route. But I suppose Wes is quite a bit younger and a bit more successful.

Pedon might outrage a lot of the people who want Martin. He's not much (if any) more qualified.

Ryan Pedon just followed Tari Eason on twitter. Lobot (BearcatsNews) reporting it looks like Pedon.

I guess if the Ohio State assistant works for Football, why not go back to the well for basketball? Definitely not high on the list and I'm sure hiring an assistant not named Erik Martin will piss some people off. But let's see how it goes.
