18-3/Tied For 5th in BEast
What a nice position to be in! Especially since 4 of the next 5 games look to be an advantage for the Bearcats.
We should beat WVU at home. Have to play lights out to beat Pitt on the road. Not likely. Should win at Depaul and beat St. Johns and Louisville at home. That Louisville game could be huge if everything plays out according to the odds. |

Just imagine if this team plays well at Pitt and makes some shots. If they win against WVU, they are essentially in a win-win situation again. I like going on the road against Top 10 teams when you don't NEED the win to get off the bubble. It is a nice spot to be in. Have to take care of business on Saturday first.

If we can win on Sat, having a 19-3 record going into Pitt with nothing to lose, and Depaul waiting... I'm not sure I could ask for a better scenario or better timing.
Really, looking at the remaining games, they shape up just about perfect in my mind. As long we don't have a melt down, and handle Depaul, and St. Johns at home, I think this team is staring 23 wins, with a GREAT chance of 24, 25, right in the face. Can you imagine if this team hits that 24 or 25 numbers, any simply repeats last year performance of 2 wins at MSG? 26, 27 win total and that's a 4 or a 5 seed in my book.

They are in a good position- they haven't let down against a lesser opponent yet this year, hopefully that continues.

WVU - win 19-3
Pitt - loss 19-4 DePaul - win - 20-4 StJohns - win - 21-4 Louisville - win- 22-4 Providence - win - 23-4 Those are possible results people. We need to concentrate and focus on each game. If we do that, I think we should achieve those goals. |

The St. John's; UofL and Providence stretch won't be easy... if they forget to bring it any of those three nights they will lose... but this team has done a good job throughout the year of taking care of their business.

I may rather play Cuse again than Providence. Seriously.
