Octavious Ellis

Ellis has now found a new home at Arizona State and will have 2 years of eligibility remaining. He was rated one of the top Centers in juco averaging 14ppg. He was a troubled kid when he was here but it seems he has turned things around.

Seemed like he fit the mold for what Mick is trying to build. Too bad about the character issues.

Couldn't really tell much from his 10 minutes that he played in garbage time, he could've bulked up and turned into a nice player.

Most basketball players now switch pivot feet constantly and don't get called for it, it drives me insane. I noticed a few players on both teams do it during the exhibition game. With the lack of attention to the basic rules now, it isn't the worst question he could ask, if he even asked it. How did you hear about this question, were you sitting next to Mick on the bench? If you were, how can I get those seats?

Id beg to differ... A D1 scholarship to play basketball and zero concept of a pivot foot?

Mick stated it in a press conference.
