UC HOF Ceremony Tonight
Any of you guys planning to go?
Kenyon Martin is going in to the HOF today and Huggins is supposed to be back on campus as well. Some fond memories of those years.... |

Are they retiring his number 4 as well? Are they going to hang his jersey in the gym? If so are they going to do it before a game? If not what a shame and wasted opportunity for all the great fans who arent among the 300 or however many that are going tonight.

Here is the the interview Martin did with Tommy G. Its pretty cool to see him talking with the team. Wish K-Mart would come to games and have a seat next to Oscar. But, that is wishful thinking. Glad to see him back in Clifton regardless.

Wishful thinking is right... I think that ship sailed when UC let Huggins go. Kenyon had major problems and wanted zero to do with UC... Glad things have changed a little.

Im sure he's simmered down now that Zimpher is gone and Cronin has found success. It's not a long shot to think he might be down there with the Big O one day to watch the defending ACC basketball champs Cincinnati take on arch-rival Louisville....

Hmmm, it's kind of hard to come to a lot of games when you are STILL PLAYING IN THE NBA. Last time I checked, 82 games is quite a lot plus travel and practice. Kenyon already said that he has let his feelings pass and commented that with the administration changeover and his discussions with Huggins, he has very much softened his position on UC.

Martin came in and worked out with the team last year as he was trying to get in shape before he signed with the Knicks.

Was Ralphy at this dinner??
When will he be inducted into the UC hall of fame for being the oldest fan, blowing out all the other competition by a good 10+ years.

I wanted to go but the $100 a plate dinner kept me away. Especially when I'd have to buy two to take the wifey. I would like to see them honor him before a game this year if at all possible with his schedule. Does anyone know if he's signed anywhere to play this year?
