Spring Game

Ben Bryant looks like he will be a capable #2 QB. Ridder has gotten bigger. Alec Pierce is an impressive young receiver and it will be nice to have a bigger guy on the outside - he could be a breakout player this year. Josh Whyle looked good as well - should get some playing time this year and be ready to replace Deguara in 2020.

Malik Vann looked unblockable. Hopefully that is mostly Malik Vann and not a questionable right side of the OL.

Both kickers looked better. Hopefully Cole Smith will settle down this season because he has potential. Tavion Thomas was patient and picking holes, which is a good sign and something he didn't do enough of last year.

The true freshmen haven't enrolled yet, so no chance to see Cameron Jones, the absurd 6-8 260 lb QB. I have trouble imagining a guy that size running Read Option, and I assume he will wind up at a different position.

The #1 CBs did not play. The backup CBs did not look good

Also, Ponder looked good at DT. Someone is going to need to step up there. He is undersized but he was really quick off the snap.
