Looks like Jared Terrell is on the move. The 6-foot-3, 195-pound shooting guard out of Weymouth (MA) is changing schools and likely changing classes, along with another highly touted player from New England.
“Myself along with Noah Vonleh will be reclassing as 2014 [players] at the New Hampton School,” said Terrell Thursday afternoon. Still, many colleges have been in contact with him to let him know they will be following him and likely check him out on the AAU circuit when he hits the court with Expressions Elite. “I have heard from UConn, Rutgers, BC, DePaul, Cincinnati, Seton Hall, Villanova, Temple, FSU, URI, Wake Forest, Miami, Georgia Tech, Texas, Alabama, UMass and Washington,” said Terrell. Terrell is in no hurry to end the recruiting process anytime soon and will look forward to taking it all in. “No leaders or favorites…just enjoying the process,” he said. http://www.nbebasketball.com/w3/2011...-center-stage/ |

Jared Terrell, Weymouth/New Hampton: He may be joining the class of 2014 in the fall but he proved himself one of New England’s best in 2013 this spring. He has the requisite physical tools with his strength and athleticism but what really separates him are his mental intangibles with toughness, great work ethic, and a killer instinct.

Jared Terrell – He did what he does best, and that’s attack the basket and put immediate pressure on the defense. He’s virtually unstoppable in the open floor and is so physically strong that he can carry defenders on his back all the way to the rim.
