Their feeling is league affiliation is a major obstacle. Should be a interesting follow to see who they can get in a non P-5 conference.

can't use that excuse when other teams in your same conference are doing just fine. 3 teams in the top 18 on kenpom.

Wow Dan Hurley to UCONN over more money at Pitt.

AAC could possibly be a 6 bid league in the near future with 3 more in contention:
Cincy
SMU
UCONN
Memphis
Houston
WSU

Temple
UCF
Tulsa

Bottom 3 still not very good, but Tulane has showed signs:
ECU
USF
Tulane

Hurley is a home run hire for UConn.

I agree that the expectation for the minimum # of NCAA bids next year has certainly risen.

I think UCF should firmly go into the top group (for next season at least) if Tacko returns and everyone can stay healthy.

Temple didn't lose too much either and should have the talent to compete with the top teams again next year.

Tulsa will be an NIT team at best.

I mean this league is actually legit. The bottom teams are still going to be very bad but still, that's some big time teams with big time coaches.

If UCF has Taylor, Fall, and Dawkins they will be a contender for the league title. They have a very good coach. WSU is losing a lot and Marshall needs to bail while he can.

Can Hub or anyone give us breakdown of each team next year. Roster, incoming recruits, etc. WSU seems like they are losing a lot. SMU doesn't seem to have the same talent obviously. What can we really expect the league to be next year? I don't know how quick Hurley and Hardaway can turn things around?

We have our own questions I know but we are going to make the tourney.

UCF will be Top 3 in the league I think. They have everyone back except Davis.

I'd guess that Houston, UCF, and us are the top teams.
