Well I think you take both, especially since we have the wiggle room, and place your bet that one of the two will work out. Diversify!

FWIW I think Mick knows something about him (academics?):
Jon Rothstein ‏@JonRothstein
Cincy backed off a bit in mid May. Johnnies stayed persistent @dcweisbrot: any idea why Obekpa chose stj over cincy?

UC backed off, had posts in program. Lavin kept chipping @welks303:
I talked to some "people in the know" behind the scenes and anonymously they told me there were two factors in backing off Obekpa - 1. grades/academics 2. some shady stuff going on/requests from Obekpa's handlers.

I trust Mick. Obekpa and his handlers are Lavin's problem now.

UC is definitely headed in the right direction.

Sure you have spoken to "people in the know." You're still on the allegations, and spouting conjecture and innuendo.

I'm told ‪#stjbb‬ commit Chris Obekpa is qualified and does well academically in high school.

I guess we'll find out who's right, huh?

Obekpa is 100% qualified according to Zags. I believe he would be more " in the know" than your mystery guy. Why can't you just let it go already? This Obekpa talk has now spilled to a different thread. You are right that UC is headed in the right direction. Wish I could say the same for your posts.

Lavin and Calipari share a lot more in common than just that..

And congrats on figuring out the caps lock. Go ahead and give yourself a pat on the back.
