david aka the TYZ will become famous soon enough
Now, for anybody who watched the game on TV -- what the hell was the foul called on Fredericks before the free throw was shot?

^^^Wish I had an answer but I was half-watching my toddler at the same time so I tuned out during that stretch.

On a separate note, is anyone concerned about the play of our big men last night? Brooks, Scott, and Nsoseme all looked a bit out of sorts and I couldn't tell if it was rust or genuine struggle against physical bigs with some size.

On the flip side Diarra played 12 mins and was one rebound from team leader. He also had more rebs and as many blocks and steals than Scott and Brooks did in a combined 31 mins, granted was garbage time but can see potential.

He knew what he was coming into, he’s not going anywhere
I guess he meant the team would be in bad shape with out a point guard.

i think people have been and will continue to be concerned about them. none of them have played well against good teams and lately they've been hit and miss against the bad ones.

tre scott would be better served to play near the rim. he can't make jump shots (1-15 on midrange and 0-4 from 3 the last 4 games. 29% on 2's not at the rim and 20% from 3 on the season) but he can use his quickness for his size to beat defenders around the rim.

im not sure with brooks. i dont know how he can play like he did vs ucla and then other games he has trouble just holding on to the ball.

Good points. I think I just need to remember that our front court players are a level below who we primarily put on the court last season and that they're going to have inexplicably poor showings occasionally to go along with their average outings and the occasional exceptional performance (Brooks vs UCLA & Scott vs NKU).

I did some research on this a week or two ago. I think monte Morris has the record at 5.21 to 1. It’s in the interesting stats thread.

I’m not sure what to be impressed with more concerning Jenifer. Assists to turnover, his 3%, or his ortg.

Williams has been impressive this year but with his talent many thought he was capable. Jenifer may be a bigger surprise and Williams is a big surprise. Cumberland is as billed...damn good

the first 2 really make the 3rd. shoot 47% from 3, rarely turn it over and your ortg is gonna be sky high.

he would get written off for that ORTG with that usage rate though. under 15 is extremely low.

i think we can all agree we're gonna need more than 2 shots out of him in our big games. he's a big part of our offense, he has to stay that way.
