Troy Caupain
Ok Troy is our best player, I'm a huge caupain fan. Now I get it we expect him to close these games for us and lead this team to the kind of year we all expected. But some of the critism has been a bit unfair. I still think Troy has that big shot gene in him, and I want him with the ball in his hands at the end of games. He's been making big shots here since his freshman year, and even this year has hit some big shots for us (albeit a few in losing efforts). These are some clips I found of his big shots

I knew your family #10 was coming soon. Tell your cousin go work on his handles and lateral quickness.

I agree he needs to work on his quickness and explosiveness. Troy is our best player i underdstasnd your frustration right now but by the end of the season i think you will agree with me...right now the hole team is going thru a struggle and troy is going to be the guy to right the ship these next few weeks IMO.

Problem is to win games like Iowa st, butler and smu. You have to put the ball in the hands of a guard you can trust to make a play. Troy has to be that player on this team. He hasn't come through while the other teams have. Thus we lost everyone of those games. Troy has to get tougher and be able to make a play no matter what, whether it be getting his own shot or drawing the defense to get the ball in the hands of a shooter or an open man down low. If you don't have a player like that then you won't when those tough, close games. Unfortunately this year we don't have that player. Troy is still the best candidate for it though.

Troy Caupain has the lowest eFG% (45.8%) of anyone in the top 8 of the rotation. Quadri Moore (39 FGA) and Zach Tobler (3 FGA) are the only ones with a lower eFG%.
