Dude. I posted in around the Country because it literally is valid to this thread:

1. This the perfect place for this commentary
2. UCLA is absolutely relevant to UC basketball, since they stole our coach and are competing with us for a bubble spot in the tourney.

If anything your comment is wildly off topic. Mine was posted appropriately,

I can’t help that UCLA is good now. It’s not my fault. We all know if I posted about UK in the same exact way, you wouldn’t care.

edit - it's hilarious, after checking other boards you are posting non-stop UCLA/Cronin on those boards as well. i really have no clue why you don't just post your stuff there.

really? if you posted everytime something good happened to UK you think everyone on here would enjoy it? we get it, you love Cronin and UCLA and you think Brannen and UC stink. take it to the UCLA board already and be done.

i don't really care to post in the thread when ucla loses. i don't follow them, this is a UC board. around the country doesn't mean UCLA.

Around the country literally means anything but cincinnati basketball.

It’s a topic for college basketball at large.



And it’s not like I posted outta no where. The entirety of basketball national media was talking about it on Twitter.

It was actually a great game to watch no matter who you watch.


I’m not sure about you, but I watch 2 UC games a week but at least 20 hours of non UC basketball because....well, I like the sport of college basketball.


If I posted this in the sticky threads with no relevant context then sure it’s probably out of line. But this is literally the place for these conversations or commentary.

UCLA could legitimately shrink the field and that would hurt us potentially. How they perform is relevant.


The easy answer is just to ignore posts you don’t like.


Hell... you could just ignore every thing I say. There is literally a feature for that.


So when people were posting about UCLA losing early in the season, I didn’t see you jumping in to say that we should stop mentioning UCLA.



PS I don’t want Mick back. I just want to win. If John Brannen wins, he gets my support and my money. But yea, I liked mick Cronin. But he probably peaked at cincinnati. So I’m ok with it now. But that doesn’t mean that I don’t want a UC grad and Bearcat at heart like mick Cronin to not succeed.

Nice post Justin, agreed on all points. I also watch a ton of non-UC ball. I catch quite a bit of Pac 12 action because they're usually the only league on that late. And I almost always tune in to whatever game Walton and Pasch are calling. Those guys are hilarious.
