What is crazy about Troy is that he will basically be a 2 and done player when you factor in his age. Not often you get what is essentially a 4 year college starter that is 21 these days...

Probably watch about 5x more hoops than you do. Iowa State is a good team there's no questioning that, but they've lost an important guy to injury, Naz (that hurts depth a bit). They did add the Marquette transfer but he's seeing his first action. We are at home, we match up size wise with them pretty well. It's going to be a physical game, usually we excel in such games. It's not a "crazy" thought to think we could win. UNI has been a solid program for a long time, pulled off many upsets, but that's a game Iowa State should win. If UNI can beat them we sure as hell can beat them at home. Never once did I say we should win easily they suck, blah blah blah blah blah. NO one is saying it wouldn't be a huge accomplishment genius.

Getting 15 boards between Evans and Shaq was huge in a game when because of foul trouble by our Biggs we were forced to go small. Both guys really stepped up.

I agree they are very beatable, but we need to hit some 3's and make them play our Pace.

I watched them a bunch this year as I knew this game was looming on the schedule. I'd say Iowa state starts slow and finishes strong.


what worries me is we have a hard time building big leads against good competition and I think were gonna need to jump on them early

If he wants to get drafted he needs to up his scoring. I think that's going to happen in conference play as his percentages come back up to where they belong.
