In the past few years of a new shot clock we have reached 100 points at least once in every year. We have reached 90 at least 3 times each year. Last year it was the first three games of the year.
Will we hit 90 this year in any game? Will we see 80 in conference? Back in '14-'15 we hit 80's only twice (before the shot clock changed). Ironically both were in conference. That team was replacing 3 key players as well. I think the shot clock change added about 10 points per game or so. So 95 was the new 85. |

My guess is each thread is going to be negatively impacted by comments regarding Cronin, style, and players. Even if we crush one of these teams by 50 it will be a "big deal we played Arkansas Pine Bluff" type comment. Not saying it isn't deserve djust saying what each thread is basically going to consist of.
I think we are all counting down the days until the UNLV game and that stretch to really see what this team is made up of. Next weekends small tournament will help a little but George Mason and Baylor already took some Ls. I am excited though to see what we do tonight. My guess is that it's still a bit rocky but our defense holds. We win 73-55 Really just need to see some shots go. I don't care if we end up getting a lead by 30. No Sam Martin or walk-ons. Keep the guys that need reps in and don't let off the gas. We need every bit of experience we can get. Last edited by GarradJ21; 11-13-2018 at 12:37 PM. |
