That's how I took it when I watched the interview. He mentioned it and then looks like caught himself and went into his bit about Wendys and Comfort Inn. At best he misspoke but it felt like an implication.

He does draw a lot of fouls, so we have to be careful with Evans.

But yea when I watched them, it was not a lot of great offensive scheming or movement. It was very basic offensive that had guys who could score.

I do think they will believe they can win. And its why starting fast and beating them early will kill their underdog spirit.

I really wish the AAC Championship game would have been on a Saturday.

Our Big win got past over really quick as we went straight into the selection show. Really wish the AAC would find a way to move it back a day

My #1 concern in this tourney is Jacob Evans shooting.

Over his last 11 games he is 14-50 from 3 (28%) and his overall season average from 3 is down to 37%, it was well above 40 for most of the year.

Something isn't right with him. Either he's hurt, he isn't confident or his form is broken, but its in his head.

I want him shooting all week long to prepare. He need to get right. We cannot go to the sweet 16 hitting 13 3's in a 3 game span.

Well I do think we can go to the sweet 16 with poor shooting....but I don’t want to try!!

Gary isn’t going to let us lose in round 1. Round 2 is tougher and Gary will need some help from 1 of the other 4 scorers.

If Gary is Gary and Evans gets back to being Evans, we will be in the second weekend.

He'll be alright once he gets a couple down.

Unless his finger is jacked up.

They matched us up with 3 very high level 3 point shooting teams. All of our potential matchups are near 40% from 3.

We can negate some of their shooting, but teams like Nevada have tall athletic shooters who can shoot over top of the defense.

We need to shoot well to win in the tourney.

I think Evans will get it together, or at minimum Cumberland, who loves big games.

Cumberland is such an underrated beast. He's really ended up having a great year.

Washington is a big advantage for us on the offensive end. Teams that aren't used to him will have no idea what's going on.
