I'm still seeing some folks on the internet talking as if Cincinnati's defense is going to get its act together. We're 3 games in -- how much of a bigger sample size do they need? Our defense is awful, and will be awful the rest of the season. Memphis scares me because they are good enough to keep up with us in what will surely be a shootout. Mark my words: Tulane, UConn, and SMU are the only teams we might hold to under 20 this season.

I will nervously take the Bearcats at home, 45-42.

I'm nervous about this game. Not nervous enough to pick against the Cats though. I'm encouraged that Memphis was held to 3 points by Ole Miss. I don't know anything about their QB, but I'd assume the plan is to gang up on the run and make that guy beat us on 3rd down all day.

UC 42
Memphis 34

I want both defensive coordinators fired at year's end or I'm not even getting my hopes up about next season.

Why did Tuberville let the clock run down before calling that timeout? NTS is right... Tuberville is not a good coach. He was in the past, but I don't think he gives a damn anymore. He's just here to make his wife happy and have a low-pressure, good paying gig. Worst coach we've had since Rick Minter, maybe even worse than him.

I have been saying since the Illinois game last year that he will run this program into the ground. He had a very good staff with him at Auburn but when those coaches left to take their own HC positions he started going down hill. He's been average since 2008 with SEC and Big 12 talent, a luxury he doesn't have here. Guy sucks.

His in-game coaching does not impress me at all, the defense is putrid, and he isn't bringing in any better recruits than Butch Jones. I will admit to being emotional during a game, but this isn't the first time I've had doubts about Tuberville.

Seriously, there is nothing good you can say about our defense. It is one of the absolute worst in the FBS, and that's unacceptable for a program with our resources. I know we're not Ohio State, but we aren't Kent State either.
