Would it surprise anyone if Cronin hired Rick as an assistant? Some would view it as poor judgement, but I don't think they'd be surprised. He's supported him always.

I have always been a Mick supporter, but I have to admit when he was on medical leave I thought Larry Davis got the kids playing better on offense and generally a more fluid game. He would have been a good head coach at a higher level D1 school.

I'm disappointed to see him leave UC, but I guess after doing anything for 30 years some people want to step back a bit.

Hopefully we get a charismatic recruiter who can be a strong positional coach.

I'd be surprised to see Pitino accept a job as an assistant. Also would be surprised to see Mick even consider it. For the life of me I don't understand why Pitino's name is being mentioned here.

I’d rake Pitino in a second. But I really doubt that is happening.

Mack leaves X to replace Rick. The Mick and Rick show stick it to Louisville and X. Kinda like it.

I think the players would play better if they had a few hookers around the program to keep them focused.

Cronin isnt the only familiar face with him, Dr Pinto was president at Louisville Pitino's last year.

Regarding the timing LD retired, thinking back on it, thought it was strange when Savino was promoted to co-assoc HC two weeks after last season, wasn't sure how long UC would have 2 assoc HC's.

Spotted Larry Davis helping instruct at a local AAU program skills/drills camp. Not a surprise, but also don't know what level of involvement he'll have with them.
