Arizona has already signed a top 100 PG and the top JUCO SG for the class of 2014. They are in the class with Kansas, UNC and Kentucky in terms of recruiting. I am somewhat shocked that Arizona State hasn't reached out, though he is drawing interest from fellow PAC12 school Wazzou. I guess we'll see how it plays out in the coming weeks as he is supposedly going to visit both schools soon. |

Absolutely can't get a handle on who is our top target or who has genuine interest in us. We have a lot of good wings who have some playing time returning. Can't see us going after a big. Do we take a one year transfer, a transfer who has to sit out a year, a 4 year player, only use one schooly. Lots of moving parts. |

From the little I've found on Shreiner it sounds like he can play PG as well. So it's not certainly out of the question they could take Haywood and Shreiner, especially since Haywood will have sit to sit out a year anyway. I'm a big fan of having multiple combo guards that can pass and score. I guess we'll see what Cronin wants to do within the next 2 weeks.

He is definitely intriguing. I'd take him in a heartbeat because of his raw talent that people are saying he has.

If it's truly down to us and Washington State then I like our chances if he visits both campus. He is from the Phoenix area and our campus is in an urban setting. While sightseeing after the Bearcats first round loss we drove past the town where WSU is and it is absolutely in the middle of nowhere. We didn't see the campus but if he's a city boy, then I doubt he'd want to live in Pullman. With that said, it is recruiting and anything can happen.

Shreiner was rated an 87 (***) and ranked 247 in the 247 final rankings.

Josh Gershon @JoshGershon
2014 Palos Verdes (CA) Rolling Hills Prep guard Jackie Davis has committed to #WashingtonState, his father informs http://Scout.com . Have seen Shreiner listed as both a PG and SG so not sure if this affects WSU's pursuit of him or not. |
