First you said UC embraced this in the 90's, Lance did not play then. Second, this is like your opinion. Please show links where any of those mentioned cussed at a coach, started a fight, took over a press conference calling themselves gangsters, headbutted an opposing X player. Doing those things is not swag, swagger is confidence.

When did any of the above mentioned go over the proverbial line? Any links

So UC lost not because of rebounding, defense or shooting it is because X has swagger?

Did anyone hear the LeBatard Show today- Mick getting made fun of on national radio, not a good look.
This has really nothing to do with the game, but what I hate is that X fans don't really embrace it. Or, the "narrative" is that X is the plucky little underdog still. They run out teams full of punks and cons and everyone talks about them like they're the second coming of Ward Cleaver.

That whole "holier than thou", we have a team full of solid citizens and angels is pretty much a narrative that all catholic schools try to propagate. Some schools are worse than others but it is there.

Only thing that will shut them up is to start beating them. At least 50% of the time instead of once every 3 or 4 years.
