You literally know nothing about him and are already judging his character and who he is a person? Who the hell are you to judge if someone is "tough" or not? Because Cronin throws tantrums and yells at his players they and/or he are "tough"? You literally know nothing about any of these kids and continue to be an embarrassment for real bearcat fans and this board.

Lololol look what McDonald dis against UC.

I think he had a offensive rating on 64 on 3-15 shooting

McDonald dominated a trash league. No one in their right mind thinks McDonald is a top 50 player. But nice cherry pick

Dude had 5 points against Texas tech too

Drew McDonald is not as good as you think.

You can watch film on a guy and pretty quick know if he is a tough player.

But... don’t take my word, pretty sure Chad said he wasn’t sure he was tough enough to be a take at UC before he committed to UC.

If you want to pick and choose BS stats you can find a reason why any coach is better then any other. If PER is harder at NKU, why were only 2 of the top 10 guys in PER last year from P6 teams? A lot of statistical measures are much easier to achieve when you are playing teams with small, unathletic guys who can't play good D.

Cronin had quite a few players make large jumps in development. Justin Jenifer being the most recent.

Your just as bad as anyone your telling to quit rooting for UC (which is stupid in its own right). Brannen hasn't proven anything at this level yet, he has a good resume, but it's not unreasonable to doubt him - especially given his recruiting and player retention up to this point. Let's wait a year or two and judge by what he actually does.

It’s funny that I’m being told not to be a fan anymore. When on this very board I was one of the dudes defending our players and our coaches after we would lose a single game.

We had people on here berating players, and going ape sh*t over a single loss.

I’d hope that you are a season ticket holder.

Well the big east has been in the top 5 every single year of Kenpoms conference rankings.

In basketball it’s P6.. the big east has brand recognition.

you never heard me berate any of the players after one game. You however have berated the coach and a player that have yet to participate in a game for UC. I was being sarcastic not trying to tell you to not be a fan. All UC fans should support whomever the coach and players are.

You jumpers need to stay off when the program far exceeds the one Sweet Sixteen appearance in 13 years. You Mick die hards seem to have forgotten the past. I'll take a chance on any coach to get out of the Marvin Lewisesque run of mediocrity we've been dealing with the last 13 years.
When Mick took over there were five seniors that had graduated from the previous year's team (Armein Kirkland, James White, Eric Hicks, Chad Moore, Jihad Muhammad) and four or five returning players, of which only two--Devan Downey and Cedric McGowan--were even remotely worth a damn. As far as I can recall, the only one who actually left was Downey--understandably so when you consider that due to mishandling the Huggins firing they missed an entire recruiting cycle and the team was going to be hot garbage no matter what anyone did at that point.

By contrast, Brannen inherited an intact and very talented roster that could have potentially won the AAC next year, and would have been a shoo in to make the tournament. More than half of that team is now gone.

These are not the same thing.
