Welcome aboard Nick. Seems like a well put together young man.

Seems like a very good get. Where do you think he plays for us? Are we in with either of his teammates? I know I am completely overreacting here, but it feels like we aren't going to miss a beat with Coach Jones at the helm (just knocked on wood).

I think Nick plays OLB for us. He is very close to being rated a 4 star prospect on rivals.com He is a big time player for us and I am hoping this puts pressure on Mitchell, Poole and Stevens |

Most of the sites have him ranked as a safety prospect but say that he could play either safety or OLB. In a 3-4 he would almost definitely be a weakside OLB, but in a 4-3 I'm not sure. At 5'10, 200 lbs., I'd probably lean more toward SS at this point, but it will likely depend on how he develops. I believe Tim Adams said he was recruited as a safety. A hard hitting, play making safety ala Nakamura would be a great addition to our D.

I see him playing safety for us more than likely. He will be able to walk up and play in the box when needed as well.

Nice quick breakdown of Temple's game with some analysis by a Rivals guy... said schools were scared away by his size, but that that was really the only knock on the kid... everything actually involving his play on the field was raved about... there's some film from the Army All-America combine in San Antonio of him in one-on-one's where the scout said he excelled... whether he plays LB or transitions to SS looks like a really strong pick up for Butch and the program... |

Good find! He looks like a missle when he is attacking ball carriers. I look for him to punish people as a SS. Love these type of players. I hope BJ can get more of them!
