I’d love to see any new wrinkle this game. Doubt any will happen but it would be interesting

Synergy Grades against the Zone for the season:

Memphis: Below Average .86 ppp
Houston: Good .92ppp
WSU: Below Average .85
UCF: Average .90
Temple: Poor .72
Tulane: Average .89

The Above teams Aren't great shooting teams. They have struggled against the Zone for the most part, with Houston having the most success. When they lost to BYU, Tulsa, and SMU, it was because they faced a lot of Zone.

I in no way want to be a full on Zone team.

But I am interested in seeing changing defenses from possession to possession especially late in games.

UCF made 17 of 28 layups at the rim. Our Man to man defense was absolutely abused by an horrible offensive team. A zone may have cut that in half.

Thats it..Thats all I'm asking for

Thing is... he is their second leading scorer and he is shooting 44% from the field. Which is much more efficient than Sasser, Jarreau & Mills..

He averages 1 less ppg than Mills and yet has taken 80 less shots.

When he is at his best, they are a sweet 16 team.

But he gets nervous and rattled. Hopefully he is on Sunday too

I’ve watched Houston about 5-6 times this year, and he’s been bad every game. Maybe I just caught the bad games. I still think Jarreau and Hinton are the keys. If Jarreau starts driving and setting people up, it’s hard to stop. Hinton is a great energy guy. They aren’t their best scorers but they mean a lot to them. Kinda like Tre for us

Yeah I personally hate that’s he’s been averaging 15 and 15 for the last 3 weeks

He stepped up big time. His great play takes nothing from anyone else. If others can click while he is, we will be a tough out for anyone

harvey is so smart. if anything reminds me of jarron its his bball IQ. he's always making the right play.

i think mick used to say the star players made big jumps from freshman year to sophomore year. i can see harvey being a candidate.

we're very lucky he wasn't able to go back to his high school and had to reclassify. it was unlucky for him to have to use up his freshman year while he was recovering from his ankle injury, but you can really see the talent.
