And if we're going to talk about best sport programs at UC it would clearly be the Track and Field team.
Clearly?

Nope. Dance team.

The basketball team is not going to be a push over by far this year, honestly I believe they will be better than last season after what I saw Friday night. Might take a month or so to work out the kinks with all the new guys, but we’ve got depth and some great players that could actually help us make a run in the tourney this year. That was a great win by the football program, but basketball still rules at UC.
I only saw highlights from the Thomas Moore game but based on what I saw I am very geeked about this team and Brannen. I think we need to give Fick and this great team their due though including the inimitable Ridder, Warren and Posey among others. I hope the basketball team will exceed a 17 ranking as the football team will do Monday in all likelihood but that will greatly exceed expectations if it happens. The football program is getting national coverage in all of their games now and is generating quite some buzz. Accordingly I am not willing to concede that “basketball rules” at the moment. I think it may be a couple of years until we get back to that state.
