I'm on board with this hire and am excited for the future, but on paper not sure he looks any better than Brannen. Does seem to be a better communicator.

Also, I don't get why so many people claim he is a good hire because he was 2nd in line for the UNC job. What does that mean? Is the UNC AD have a track record of hiring great coaches? For all we know Hubert Davis is a dud, what would that mean for Miller? Fact is that doesn't really mean anything.

We'll see. I'm hopeful.

When I first looked at Wes quickly earlier I wasn’t very excited about him because nothing really stood out about his offenses (just in the top 150 once in his career)

But his teams don’t turn the ball over (and that mixed with the low assist rate they probably don’t pass much, might look for an open shot and take it).

They take a lot of 3s, which is great. Last year 1 guy took over 250 mid range shots, but the rest of the team didn’t take a ton. I just thought that stat was hilarious.

His teams force a ton of turnovers and crash the offensive glass. Maybe a bit of old school Huggins on defense, with a newer approach to offense.

Everybody in the media seems to love him, so hopefully he’s super smooth and that pays off with recruiting.

I like that we did find a guy with head coaching experience. That’s what I wanted all along.
