Pike to return as starting QB

Tony Pike is tabbed as the starting qb for the game against Illinois. Although I suspect Collaros will get some reps as well. It's a nice delimna for Kelly to have.
While Illinois is down this year, UC can ill afford to overlook this game. They have playmakers who can punish. That said, UC should win by 10.

daytonfan will become famous soon enough
Kelly kept his word in that when Tony was healthy he would agian be the starting QB. As far as Collaros goes, what is the chance that Kelly sits him for not completeing his program for the courts ?

That could have been a factor, to be honest (or not at all). I think Pike is the starting qb until such time as he isn't effective, or when Collaros can be of help.
It's my belief that Pike is primarily starting at Illinois to prepare him for a tougher Pitt game, in which Pike may be better suited than Collaros.
