Guys need to stay focused. Can not get caught looking to far ahead or behind. Take it one game at a time. All team goals are still in play. Win league outright, Win conference tourney, secure a high seed and advance in NCAA tourney. Losing to Houston and WSU will mean very little if we can win out. It may push us from a 2 to a 3 seed but a 3 is still better then anyone posting here thought we would get before the season started.
STAY FOCUSED CATS!!!!!!! |

Like you I don't think Sundays game will be close but I am concerned about our defensive execution, rebounding and our 3 point accuracy. Need to get thing ramped back up. The key to a Tourney run is finding yourself as we get close to the Tournament not playing worse. Guys need to get it turned around.

It's our last home game and it's senior night so I don't think it will be an issue against Tulsa. I want to see Kyle get his energy back! |

I would love to win it outright by beating them on the road but I'm not going to lie...I am rooting for them to drop a game before that. Too much on the line. Solo Conference championship. #1 conference tourney seed. #3 seed in the dance, etc. If they (WSU) win out...it changes ALL of that.
Playing on the road on senior night against 6 seniors to a team that already beat you does not inspire a lot of confidence. We should have taken the home game but we did not...so to me it's more about the consequences right now. |

I will say in years past, Cronin has made some decent defensive changes when playing an opponent for a 2nd time. But it don't mean a whole lot if you don't make those offensive changes, like letting Cane broome get a lot of minutes with starting personel.

Tulsa is on a 6 game winning strreak, rebounds the ball well on the offensive side and also is elite at getting fouled and scoring from the free throw line.
I think we win. But it will not be pretty if Evans and Cumberland are both slumping. They have 6 guys shooting 36% or better from 3. I don’t expect a blow out even on senior night |
