USF Message boards saying Poland has recommitted. Still can't find anything official. This following a visit by Bob Huggins and his trip to Cincinnati.

I'm getting discouraged by all these recruits we are losing. I was really hoping to get some fresh meat on this team so we could have a new attitude on the floor (a Cattitude!). I was hoping for new talent if for nothing else just to get rid of some players with negative energy. Thus far we haven't even filled Lance's spot much less replaced existing players.
With that said I think we need to remember that playing hard and playing smart is what wins basketball games, not how many stars are next to recruits names. Mick will find somebody that fits his style and I still think we'll have an all new look on the floor next year. Hopefully Justin Jackson and Sean Kilpatrick come in as advertised. Oh and by the way I love MJ and I love greatone's avatar. Don't let them hate on you man!

"I'm going to go to the University of South Florida. It's a good situation for me to go to. This is a done deal," said Poland, a 6-foot-5 guard who will have three years of eligibility at USF. Poland, rated as one of the top junior college recruits at his position, said he had lined up a visit to Cincinnati last weekend, but decided not to go, and then got a visit from USF coach Stan Heath on Monday. He said his indecision two weeks ago was about him wanting to reaffirm his choice before making it official with a signing. "I just wanted to make sure," said Poland, who also considered Oklahoma and Wichita State, which would have been closer to his family's home in Wichita. "My family and I wanted to make sure we were on the same page." Poland said USF has been recruiting him the longest of his final schools, and he'll have an opportunity to make an immediate impact next year. http://blogs.tampabay.com/usf/2010/0...after-all.html |

Good find, I was wondering if he went into the witness protection program.
