Id say he is at best a pipe dream at this point. Perfect fit as a 5th year but unless those schools somehow change their situation and he drops to us it's not happening.

Lets not forget that we could take 3 kids and send someone from the roster packing, not likely but could happen.

Possible recruits

Wesley
Haywood*
Shreiner
Martin*
Harris
Wilbekin?

* my guess

Cincinnati simply put calls out to D. Graham, Elijah Stewart, Bryce DeJean Jones and Wesley. I do not believe they were seriously involved with any of them. Wesley will cut his list soon, we'll see if UC makes the cut but I wouldn't hold my breath.

They seem to be more keyed in on Shriener and Haywood considering both are supposed to visit coming up soon.

Then, there are wild cards like Eron Harris and Justin Martin that haven't publicly indicated any schools they are considering at this time.

Remember you don't have to sign an LOI in the Spring period, just the financial aid papers. It is possible this process could play out for another month or so until summer workouts really get started in late May.

His first day of in-home visits from yesterday:

Byron Wesley @byron_wesley: Thank you to the coaches from all of the following schools for coming out today: Pittsburgh, Gonzaga, Indiana, Baylor, & Oklahoma St

In all honesty, the odds in landing this kid are probably 2-4%

RT @ebosshoops: California forward Ricky Kreklow has gotten a release and will be available right away as a 5th year transfer.

For recruits classified as 2014 who have been released from the LOI's (it looks like Tennessee has had a couple lately), do those players need to commit to new schools during this current signing period (April 16 - May 21) to be eligible for the 2014-2105 season? or do they get some sort of extension?

After the signing period ends on May 21, any recruit simply has to sign financial aid papers with a certain school. However signing that is not binding like an LOI. Remember Lance Stephenson committed with Cincinnati in late June.
